  • Native Women's Association of Canada

    Is a National Indigenous Organization that defends the rights, delivers programming to, and amplifies the perspectives of Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender, and gender-diverse people in Canada, inclusive of First Nations – on and off reserve, status and non-status, disenfranchised – Métis, and Inuit. They were founded on the collective goal to enhance, promote, and foster the social, economic, cultural, and political well-being of Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender, and gender-diverse people within their respective communities and Canadian societies.

    Dress for Success Toronto® is part of a global movement for change. They are a local affiliate of an international not-for-profit organization operating in over 143 cities in 23 countries who collectively have helped more than 1.3 million women work towards self-sufficiency.

Our Packaging

We know it's important for your new treasures to arrive to you safely, so we found a weather-proof solution that isn't going to stick around in a landfill for hundreds of years. Our current shipping mailers are 100% biodegradable, but we're always keeping our eyes out for even more earth-friendly options!

Our Suppliers

As a small independent business, we work with others to create our final products. Right now, we work with one supplier in China to print and hem our scarves. We always order in very small quantities (think between 5-10 of each design per size) to reduce any excess waste. Our factory partner in Hangzhou have been OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified for their silk products, as well as the inks they use to print on.
For our handmade paper greeting cards and plantable envelopes, we are so proud to work with our Canadian supplier- Botanical Paperworks, who are women-owned and B-Corp certified.

Our Buy-Back program

All of our designs are made with the hopes that they'll be a treasured part of your wardrobe for a long time. That said, if you're no longer feeling the love, we are happy to offer a buy-back program for any of our products. We hope that by offering a chance for us to buy back your pre-loved Little Goat Studio pieces, we'll be doing our part to close the loop and take responsibility for our products throughout their entire lifespan.

Oh yeah.. we also provide carbon neutral shipping on all orders

Through the Shopify Planet add-on, for every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
